We're looking for a confident and professional experienced Senior Commercial Broker to join our team based in Hamilton. Working collaboratively, you will take on an established and profitable portfolio of senior clients, with the opportunity to expand it further. Your role will be pivotal in driving Gallagher's ongoing growth, enhancing our reputation, and strengthening our position within the industry and marketplace.

Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients, building strong and lasting relationships. Assess client needs and develop tailored insurance solutions to meet their business requirements. Negotiate with insurers to secure the best terms, coverage, and pricing for clients. Provide expert advice on risk management strategies to help clients minimize their exposure. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and support to clients. Stay updated on market trends, products, and industry developments.

Previous commercial insurance broking experience. Strong relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills. Proven ability to develop and manage complex client accounts. Experience in developing new business opportunities. A strong sense of teamwork and a committed work ethic. Demonstrated understanding of NZ insurance policies and regulations. Holds or is working towards a Certificate in Financial Services (NZQA Level 5).
