About this Role
The Administration Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the administration team and administrative processes across Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, and Haematology services. Working collaboratively with the CSTS Leadership. This is Monday to Friday and oversees the planning and coordination of both planned and unplanned leave rosters, ensuring appropriate administrative coverage and the efficient delivery of support services. The position provides operational leadership, coordination, and continuity to support high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day guidance and support to administration staff
- Assist with onboarding and training of new staff
- Support planned and unplanned leave coordination in collaboration with the Operations Lead
- Support administration process for the tracking of performance of Faster Cancer Treatment (FCT) Health Target.
- General Administration duties as and when required
What We Are Looking For
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- At least five years' experience as an administrator, particularly in the health or equivalent social sector.
- Excellent computer literacy.
- Impeccable communication skills and the ability to connect and collaborate.
- Flexibility, adaptability and able to work under pressure.
- Ability to juggle competing demands and multi-task in a busy environment.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
- Knowledge of patient administration systems
- Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in a health context.
