Client Service Specialist

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Operations team at Marsh. This role will be based in Dunedin, New Zealand. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Marsh is seeking a Client Service Specialist to provide administration and technical support to client-facing Brokers, ensuring the accurate, efficient and timely production of policy and related documentation. Starting your career in our operations team will provide a strong foundation to develop your insurance knowledge and build a pathway toward a future broking career at Marsh New Zealand.

We will count on you to:

  • Provide accurate, efficient and timely production/processing of policy and related documentation, including closing documentation to appropriate parties
  • Ensure timely and accurate production/processing of invoicing, quotations, calculations, and complex and confidential documentation within agreed SLAs/KPIs/quality targets
  • Produce reports accurately and within required timeframes
  • Manage and prioritize your workload to meet service standards, including processing complex transactions and resolving escalated matters within SLA
  • Maintain a basic understanding of core insurance concepts and relevant insurance-related legislation, policies and procedures
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, while identifying and supporting improvements to operational processes

What you need to have:

  • University degree in any discipline
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Strong numerical skills and the ability to work accurately with calculations and documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (or equivalent), including Outlook, Word and Excel
