Security Officer

Third Eye Security Limited is a reputable security company. We are providing our service in Auckland Area. We are contracted with New Zealand’s biggest companies and our business is continuously growing. We are seeking to employ more Security officers / guards  to accommodate the demand in New Zealand. 

We are offering a full time minimum 30 hours per week role. You may have to work 8 hours shift for 5 days which would be 40 hours maximum per week. Minimum pay rate is $29 / hour but we can offer up to $30/ hour depending on your skills. 

You will be required to provide the following tasks.

Job Duties 

•    Monitoring and operating of cameras and Security systems
•    Patrolling the allocated area and checking the sites
•    Liaise with client and check their wellbeing.
•    Attend to alarms and investigate disturbances
•    Monitor and authorise entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
•    Report activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
•    Foot patrol and ability to deal with general public is a must. Logical thought process and ability to follow procedures is paramount.
•    Excellent presentation, communication and customer service skills
•    Ability to handle client calls and work independently
•    Can-do attitude and a proven work ethic
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Requirements

New Zealand level 3 qualification or one year of work experience is required. You must have at least a full driver’s license. Security officer license would be an advantage but not essential. Job training would be provided.
