We are looking for an experienced and motivated Hairdresser to join our salon on a permanent full-time basis in the Wellington region.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing a wide range of hairdressing services to clients, including cutting, colouring, styling, shampooing and conditioning hair.

• Recommending suitable hair colours, hairstyles and hair care options to clients.

• Cutting, trimming, shaving and styling beards and moustaches where required.

• Keeping up to date with the latest hairdressing techniques, styles and trends.

• Ensuring salon equipment, tools and work areas are kept clean, sanitised and well maintained.

• Arranging appointments and collecting payments from clients.

• Working cooperatively with the team to provide a friendly, professional and welcoming environment.

• Meeting and exceeding client expectations to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience OR A relevant qualification.

The successful applicant must also have:

• A genuine passion for hairdressing and current hair trends.

• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and late evenings.

What We Offer

• Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week.

• Hourly pay rate between $25.00 and $30.00 per hour.
