Bulls Super Store is a busy retail store serving the Bulls community and surrounding Rangitikei district. We pride ourselves on friendly service, well-stocked shelves, and a great shopping experience. We're now looking for a hands-on Retail Supervisor to lead our shop-floor team and keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.

About the role

Reporting to the Store Manager/Owner, the Retail Supervisor supervises and coordinates the activities of our retail sales team. You'll be the go-to person on the floor — setting the pace for service, guiding staff, and making sure customers leave happy.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervising and coordinating the day-to-day activities of retail sales staff

  • Making sure customers receive prompt, friendly service and quality goods

  • Responding to customer enquiries and resolving complaints about goods and services

  • Planning and preparing staff rosters and work schedules, and assigning team members to specific duties

  • Coaching staff on how to handle difficult or complicated sales situations

  • Checking returned goods and deciding on the appropriate action

  • Monitoring stock levels, taking inventory and ordering new stock

  • Making sure goods are correctly priced, presented and displayed

  • Ensuring health and safety and security procedures are followed on the floor

Skills and experience required

  • A High school qualification or

  • At least one year of relevant experience in a retail or customer-service role, which may substitute for the formal qualification.

This is a full time position with gaurenteed minimum 30 hours per week
