Kitchen Complex Limited is a well-established cabinet making company based in Hamilton. Due to our business expansion, we are looking for cabinetmakers to join our friendly team.

 

What you will do but not limited to the following:

 

  • Examining drawings, work orders and sample parts to determine specifications;
  • Selecting and working with materials such as timber, veneers, particle board and synthetic wood;
  • Marking out, cutting and shaping wood;
  • Working from drawings and specifications to make furniture;
  • Making fittings for boats, caravans and other items where fine detail is required;
  • Assembling parts to form sections of furniture and completed articles;
  • Fitting hinges, locks, catches, drawers and shelves;
  • Making frames for chairs and couches;
  • May repair and refurbish furniture and antiques.

 

Suitable candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

 

  • Either have at least two years of relevant work experience or relevant NZQF Level 4 qualification
  • Good communication and professional skills
  • Punctual, honest, reliable and hardworking
  • Keen to work well within a team setting
  • Great attention to details

 

What we can offer:

 

  • Full time employment: we have worksites in Hamilton
  • Hourly rate: $27/hour gross - $30/hour gross
  • Hours of week per week: a minimum of 30 hours, no more than 45 hours per week depending upon site condition. Over time maybe expected
