Third Eye Security Limited is a reputable security company. We are providing our service in Auckland Area. We are contracted with New Zealand’s biggest companies and our business is continuously growing. Currently, we have a position available for a Bookkeeper.

 

We are offering a full time minimum 30 hours per week role. You may have to work 8 hours shift for 5 days which would be 40 hours maximum per week. Minimum pay rate is $30 / hour but we can offer up to $35/ hour depending on your skills and experience.


You will be required to provide the following tasks.

1. Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers and accounts using computerised accounting and bookkeeping systems.
2. Record and reconcile daily financial transactions, including income, expenses, supplier payments and other business transactions.
3. Manage accounts payable and receivable, including preparing customer invoices, processing supplier invoices and monitoring outstanding accounts.
4. Reconcile company bank accounts, credit card transactions and accounting records against monthly statements and investigate discrepancies.
5. Monitor cash flow, including expected customer receipts, supplier payments, payroll commitments and operating expenses, and report issues to management.
6. Prepare monthly financial reports, including income and expenditure reports, profit and loss summaries, accounts receivable/payable reports and cash-flow statements.
7. Maintain payroll-related financial records for approximately 25 employees, including wages, PAYEwithholding, superannuation and other employee payments.
8. Verify financial transactions and supporting documentation, identify irregularities or discrepancies, and report them to management.
9. Maintain records of business expenditure, including security equipment, uniforms, vehicles, fuel, insurance, licences, telecommunications and other operating costs.
10. Assist with GST and other taxation records by compiling and maintaining accurate financial information and liaising with the company's accountant as required.

Job Requirements

 

New Zealand level 4 qualification or three years of work experience is required. Job training would be provided.
