Permanent part-time position (0.7 FTE)

28 hours per week, rostered shifts

About the Role

As the Clinical Nurse Educator, you will coordinate and facilitate education programs that enhance clinical knowledge, skills, and professional practice within the ICU. You will deliver unit-based learning opportunities, support staff development, and act as a clinical resource, mentor, and role model for nursing staff.

The Critical Care Department is made up of a close-knit and supportive team of clinicians with a commitment to professional development, innovation, and motivation to make a positive difference to the people we serve, the clinical teams we work with, and to each other.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Registration with Nursing Council of New Zealand and holder of a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
• A relevant postgraduate certificate or diploma
• Minimum of three years recent acute intensive care nursing experience
• Knowledge of adult learning and teaching principles
• Interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to support, coach, and inspire others
• A collaborative approach and commitment to enhancing team capability and patient outcomes
