Super Outlets was founded in New Zealand in 2021 and is located in Henderson, Auckland. We aim to create the best online and offline department stores in New Zealand, offering a wide range of products and services, including furniture, homeware, electronics, garden and outdoor equipment, tools, lighting, rugs and mats, massage chairs, food and supplements, and IT services.
We need a web administrator to help us manage and maintain our shopping website. This is a full-time job with guaranteed hours of 30 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities of this role:
• Design, build, maintain, and continually improve the company's e-commerce website(s), ensuring the site accurately reflects the full product range and remains fast, secure, and mobile-responsive.
• Manage the online store platform, including themes, templates, collections, navigation and product pages across multiple in-house and partner brands.
• Configure, test and maintain the company's online payment options (Afterpay, interest-free, Laybuy and others) and ensure a secure, reliable checkout process.
• Respond to inquiries about the website, online orders, and related software/hardware issues, and diagnose and resolve technical problems.
• Adapt and configure existing programs, apps, plugins and third-party integrations (inventory, shipping, CRM, marketing and analytics tools) to meet business requirements.
• Maintain website integrations with the in-house logistics and delivery team, including shipping rates, nationwide delivery options and click-and-collect from the Henderson showroom.
• Manage web content – banners, promotions and sales campaigns, product imagery, blog/articles and landing pages.
• Optimize the site for search engine performance (SEO), uptime, security (SSL), backups and page-load speed.
• Monitor web analytics and report on traffic, conversion and online sales performance, recommending improvements.
To be qualified for this role, you will need:
- At least 2 years of work experience in the IT field.
- A level 5 or above IT-related qualification, or a Bachelor’s degree in any major, can replace the work experience requirement.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and of content management systems.
- Understanding of payment gateway integration, web/online security, SEO and web analytics.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve website and related technical problems.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability and good written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a small retail and logistics team.
