Shree Ganesh NZ Limited, known for providing friendly and reliable customer service, is
seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join its team in Moerewa.
The role involves supporting day-to-day store operations, assisting customers, and
maintaining a clean, organised, and well-presented retail environment.

Key Duties:
• Provide friendly, responsive, and efficient customer service by helping customers
locate products and answering their questions.
• Use the point-of-sale (POS) system to accurately process cash, card, and electronic
payments.
• Restock shelves, displays, and promotional areas, ensuring products are readily
available and rotated appropriately.
• Apply correct price labels and promotional signage in accordance with current store
pricing and offers.
• Receive, unpack, and place incoming deliveries in the appropriate storage areas,
ensuring products are handled safely and correctly.
• Keep the store clean, tidy, well-organised, and attractively presented throughout the
day.
• Check stock levels and notify management of low stock, shortages, or stock
discrepancies.
• Assist with stocktakes and other stock control procedures as required.
• Follow all store procedures relating to hygiene, health and safety, and daily operations.
• Assist with promotional activities and provide customers with suitable product
information or recommendations when required.
• Report any suspicious, unusual, or concerning activity to management to help
maintain a safe and secure shopping environment.

The candidate will be required to work at least 30 hours per week and be paid between
$24.00 to $26.00 per hour.

Requirements:
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience is required.
• Available to work weekends and a range of shift times as required.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in completing tasks.
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated, positive, and genuinely committed to providing good customer
service.
