About SmartFlow

SmartFlow is our patient workflow solution that helps veterinary teams streamline clinical processes, improve visibility, and eliminate bottlenecks in busy practices. It plays a critical role in day-to-day clinic operations.

This is a hands-on senior engineering role with strong full stack ownership. You'll contribute across the entire application — from backend services and APIs in.NET, through to modern frontend components — ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable including leading a significant migration from AngularJS to React, while contributing across the full stack.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading by example — actively contributing high-quality code across.NET and React
  • Driving frontend architecture and best practices, particularly through the AngularJS → React transformation
  • Designing and delivering scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions in a cloud-based SaaS environment
  • Collaborating closely with Product Managers and Practice Leads to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
  • Championing pragmatic technical improvements (refactoring, debt reduction, performance, maintainability)
  • Influencing engineering standards, practices, and technical direction across squads
  • Supporting a strong engineering culture focused on quality, automation, and continuous improvement
