About the role

We are looking for a passionate Co-ordinator to join our wider Community Child Health team. Our Co-ordinators support the needs of children, young people, and their families/whanau along the Attention Deficit Hyperactivity (ADHD) / Aroreretini pathway. This involves gaining information from parents and education services thereby supporting Paediatric assessments then initial information provision and connection to the wider health, education and NGO organizations as appropriate for the child and whanau needs.

About You

We are looking for individuals with a passion for children, a working knowledge of ADHD / Aroreretini, and making a difference in our community.

With a relevant qualification your background will Include

  • 3+ years experience in the Health or Disability sector including direct children and whanau work.
  • Being responsible for supporting the assessment and diagnostic pathway for children with suspected ADHD / Aroreretini and supporting families through the pathway.
  • Ensuring that the families of children diagnosed with ADHD / Aroreretini receive information and are appropriately linked to services.
