Perfect Building Limited is an Auckland-based construction company specialising in residential and commercial building projects. We provide comprehensive construction services covering the entire building process, including earthworks, foundations, structural construction, and interior fit-outs and renovations.

We now need a skilled and experienced excavator operator to join us ASAP.

 

Key Responsibilities:

•    Operate excavators for trenching, grading, earthmoving, and material loading.
•    Use attachments such as buckets, hydraulic breakers, augers, and grapples.
•    Perform precision excavation for infrastructure, foundations, and utilities.
•    Read and follow site plans, blueprints, and job instructions.
•    Ensure safe operation following New Zealand’s Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
•    Conduct pre-start checks and daily maintenance on equipment.
•    Work effectively with site managers, engineers, and laborers to complete projects on time.
•    Load and unload trucks and dumpers with soil, gravel, and debris.
•    Perform landscaping and site leveling tasks.
•    Assist with pipe laying, drainage, and foundation excavation.

Ideal candidate must have the following:

  • 3 years relevant experience or a level 4 or above relevant qualification 
  • WTR Endoresement Operating Certificate
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Able to follow all company policies, including those around hygiene, time management, and flexibility

In return we will guarantee:

  • Full time and stable employment with a minimum of 30 hours to 60 hours per week
  • A fair pay from $35 - $38 per hour
