Our client is a Christchurch‑based engineering and fabrication company specialising in medium to heavy structural steel and general engineering projects.

They deliver complex fabrication solutions across infrastructure, industrial, commercial, and specialised engineering sectors throughout New Zealand.

We are seeking candidates to join their team and continue their reputation for quality workmanship, practical problem‑solving, and a highly skilled team that takes pride in delivering projects safely, efficiently, and to an exceptional standard.


You’ll be joining a busy, well‑equipped workshop environment with a strong pipeline of confirmed and upcoming work.

What We’re Looking For We are particularly interested in individuals who can demonstrate:
  • Proven experience in structural steel fabrication or heavy engineering
  • Strong fabrication and welding capability
  • Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings
  • Pride in producing high‑quality workmanship
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well within a team‑focused workshop
  • Experience with medium to heavy steel fabrication projects
  • Able to work either in a manufacturing capacity, 
  • Or able to work as a site installation person.
