The Multimedia Specialist will play a key role in supporting the business growth and market positioning of the Employer within the grocery retailing sector. The role is responsible for creating and editing multimedia content, managing visual and social media assets, and supporting brand promotion and customer engagement across both in-store and online retail channels to strengthen brand visibility, customer acquisition, and commercial performance.

Key Job Responsibilities

 

ü  Create, edit and produce high-quality multimedia content including short videos, promotional graphics, product posters, banner visuals and social media clips to strengthen brand visibility and support retail business growth.

ü  Support the development of customer engagement strategies across online and in-store retail channels through professional visual content, social media postings, in-store display visuals and digital interactive materials.

ü  Analyse content data, audience engagement trends and multimedia campaign performance to identify content optimisation opportunities and support informed business decisions for retail promotion.

ü  Liaise with suppliers, digital service providers, advertising partners and external stakeholders regarding visual content production, promotional material co-creation and multimedia marketing activities.

ü  Assist with the production of e-commerce visual content, product detail visuals and online display materials to improve online product exposure and support digital retail growth.

ü  Prepare multimedia content performance reports, content trend analysis and visual promotion effect summaries for management review and operational planning purposes.

ü  Coordinate the design, production and implementation of promotional materials, digital multimedia content, product advertising visuals and in-store marketing displays to improve customer experience and sales conversion.

ü  Maintain consistent brand visual standards, unified content styles and standardised customer communication materials across offline retail operations and online digital platforms.

ü  Monitor multimedia content data, audience engagement metrics and content conversion results, and recommend optimisation plans to enhance visual marketing effectiveness and operational efficiency.

 Candidate Requirements

ü  Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Design, Radio and Television Directing, Digital Media, Video Production or a related creative field.

OR

ü  Relevant work experience in multimedia production, visual design, digital content creation, social media operation or related commercial fields.

ü  Advanced proficiency in core creative software

ü  Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects

ü  Strong motion graphics and animation capabilities for infographics and short marketing clips

ü  Solid experience creating data-driven visual assets; ability to turn technical analytics content into clear, attractive multimedia outputs.

ü  Strong visual storytelling sense, excellent layout, typography and colour matching skills with consistent brand awareness.

ü  Hands-on video production skills including filming, lighting, audio editing and post-production workflows.

ü  Excellent communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams, interpret marketing briefs and iterate designs based on feedback efficiently.

ü  Ability to prioritise multiple concurrent multimedia projects, meet tight deadlines while maintaining high creative quality.
