Hiko Electrical is growing, and we're looking for an experienced HVAC Project Manager to join our team and take ownership of projects from quoting through to completion and handover.

THE ROLE: You'll be responsible for:
  • Seeking new opportunities & maintaining and supporting growth of the sales pipeline.
  • Quoting and managing residential and commercial HVAC projects
  • Conducting customer site visits and developing tailored solutions
  • Planning labour, materials, subcontractors and project timelines
  • Coordinating HVAC technicians, team leaders and other trades
  • Managing variations, job costs, budgets and profitability
  • Maintaining strong customer and supplier relationships
  • Overseeing installation, commissioning and project handover
  • Ensuring quality, safety and compliance standards are met
  • Using Simpro to keep projects, customers and job information up to date
ABOUT YOU: We're looking for someone who has:
  • The ability to spot opportunities, manage relationships, know how to lead and positively motivate and support people, and organise jobs.
  • Someone who gets S*it done.
  • Relevant New Zealand HVAC or Refrigeration trade qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience delivering residential and commercial HVAC projects.
  • Proven experience managing HVAC projects from quoting through to completion and invoicing.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plans, drawings and New Zealand industry standards.
  • Experience using Simpro or similar job management software is preferred.
  • Experience coordinating technicians, subcontractors, suppliers and other trades.
  • Experience managing project budgets, variations, back costing and profitability.
  • Current New Zealand Driver Licence.
  • Site Safe/Construct Safe, First Aid and Refrigerant Handling/A2L certification are preferred.
