About the role Your duties will include:
- Operating a counterbalance forklift
- Loading and unloading scaffolding equipment from trucks
- Receiving incoming stock and checking it against delivery documentation
- Signing for delivered goods
- Labelling pallets and individual items
- Organising, itemising and storing stock accurately
- Manually loading and unloading goods when required
- Completing general yard duties
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work area
- Proven counterbalance forklift operating experience
- A current forklift licence/certificate
- Good physical fitness, as some manual handling is required
- Good reading, writing and numeracy skills
- The ability to understand delivery paperwork and accurately check goods against dockets
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- A reliable and safety-conscious approach
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Clean Criminal record and be able to pass a Drug Test
- Full class 1 licence and own Car to get to work
- Good rates of weekly pay
