Idrums Limited is a seeking a motivated and experienced Drum Music Private Tutor to provide individual and small-group drum lessons to students of different ages and skills level 

Applicants must have either:

  • at least 3 years of relevant work experience as a drum teacher, drum tutor, music tutor or in a closely related role; Or 
  • At least a level 5 relevant Diploma qualification in music, performing arts, music education or a related field

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide private drum lessions to students from beginner to advanced level
  • Teach drum techniques, rhythm, timing, coordination and music theory relevant to drumming
  • Develop lesson plans based on each student's ability, learning goals and progress 
  • Demonsrate drumming techniques and provide clear practival instruction 
  • Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback 
  • Prepare appropriate exerciese, practice materials and learning activities 
  • Assist students in developing performance skills and confidence 
  • Maintain a positive, supportive and professional learning environment 
  • Maintain lesson records and communicate students' progress where required 
  • Ensure musical instruments and teaching areas are kept clean, organised and saft 
  • Other tasks required by the employer 

Hours: Minumum 30 hours per week, Maximum 40 hours per week
