Guaranteed Hours: Minimum 32 hours per week

Bumbusly Limited is seeking a Beauty Salon Manager to organise and manage the day-to-day operations of our established beauty and advanced skin therapy clinic in Christchurch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organise and control the daily operations of the salon/clinic.
  • Manage staff rosters, workflow and allocation of duties.
  • Recruit, train, supervise and support staff.
  • Monitor staff performance and service standards.
  • Determine stock requirements and maintain appropriate stock levels.
  • Coordinate purchasing and liaise with suppliers.
  • Maintain records of stock levels and financial transactions.
  • Assist with budgeting, operational costs and business performance.
  • Develop and implement marketing and promotional activities.
  • Assist with service pricing and business development strategies.
  • Oversee bookings and ensure efficient use of staff and clinic resources.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and handle client enquiries or complaints.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, hygiene and operational requirements.
  • Support the continued growth and efficient operation of the business.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet at least one of the following:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher; OR
  • Hold a relevant Level 4 or higher qualification in beauty, salon management, business, management or a related field; OR
  • Have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in beauty, salon, clinic, retail or business operations.

Applicants must also demonstrate good organisational, communication, customer service and staff-management skills.
