Safe Spartan scaffolding Limited are looking for 2 and reliable Scaffolders to join our Scaffolding company.

 

We are seeking hardworking Scaffolders who take pride in their work and are committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality and teamwork. The successful applicants will work on residential, commercial and construction sites, erecting, modifying and dismantling scaffolding and associated structures. Minimum 30 hours-48 maximum hours/week

About the Role

 

As a Scaffolder, your responsibilities will include:

 

 Unloading and safely handling scaffolding equipment on site

 

- Preparing and ensuring stable bases for scaffolding

 

- Erecting and dismantling scaffolding structures

 

- Fixing scaffolding to buildings and other structures

 

- Installing platforms, planks, guardrails and safety netting

 

- Measuring, cutting, bending and fitting scaffolding components

 

- Lifting and positioning sections of scaffolding safely

 

- Installing braces, supports, tubes, fittings and other components

 

- Setting up temporary roofs, suspended scaffolding, cantilever drops and other specialised platforms where required

 

- Working with ropes, guy wires, lifting equipment and rigging equipment

 

- Following site safety procedures and working safely at all times

 

- Maintaining scaffolding equipment and keeping work areas clean and organised

 

- Working outdoors and in different weather conditions

 

- Dismantling scaffolding safely when projects are completed

The ideal candidates will have:

 

Minimum 3 year of relevant work experience OR a relevant level 4 qualification or equivalent certificates,

 

- Good knowledge of scaffolding equipment, systems and safe working practices.

 

- A strong commitment to health and safety

 

- Good physical fitness and the ability to work at heights

 

- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

 

- Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude

 

- Good communication skills

 

- Ability to work in all weather conditions
