Job Description:

Auckland based CSM Construction Ltd is looking for experienced Carpenters to join our team and

work across our various projects.

What you need:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in construction
  • Good understanding of carpentry, construction and building plans
  • Competent with hand and power tools  
  • Reliable, punctual, hardworking and physically fit
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and ability to follow instructions
  • Able to pass a drug test
  • Hold a current NZ driver licence, or a valid overseas licence that allows you to legally drive in New Zealand.

What we offer:

  • Ongoing full-time work across Auckland
  • Minimum 30 hours per week
  • Weekly pay
  • Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm, with some weekend work when required

About the role:

You will be responsible for a range of construction and carpentry work, including:

  • Reading and working from building plans and drawings
  • Measuring, setting out and preparing materials
  • Cutting and assembling timber and other building materials
  • Constructing wall and roof framing
  • Installing flooring, cladding, fascia, doors and windows
  • Building and installing timber structures and fixtures
  • Renovations, alterations and repair work
  • Using hand and power tools safely
  • Ensuring work is level, square and completed to a high standard
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy work site
  • Ordering and Collection materials required for the projects
