About the Role
We are seeking a commercially driven and relationship-focused Investment & Strategic Partnerships Manager to lead the company’s capital-raising, corporate financing and strategic partnership initiatives. The role will be responsible for identifying and developing funding opportunities, engaging with potential institutional and wholesale investors, supporting the execution of financing transactions, and building long-term relationships that contribute to the company’s growth and expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct commercial, financial, and feasibility analysis of potential investment projects, including business models, financial projections, returns, risks, and market trends.
- Lead and coordinate investment due diligence and prepare project analysis, investment memoranda, reports, presentations, and supporting materials.
- Develop and implement strategies to support the company’s growth, investment and capital-raising objectives.
- Identify and engage with potential institutional and wholesale investors to support the Company’s own fundraising and strategic initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, financial institutions, investment organisations, corporate partners, and other key stakeholders.
- Organise investor meetings, presentations, and business discussions, and monitor investor feedback and market developments.
- Identify potential projects, commercial opportunities, and strategic partnership opportunities that align with the company’s growth objectives.
- Evaluate potential partnerships for the Company and support commercial negotiations and transaction structuring on behalf of the Company.
- Lead or support the development and execution of strategic partnership and financing agreements.
- Work closely with senior management and relevant internal teams to drive investment, financing, and partnership initiatives.
Skills and Experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree (NZQF Level 7) in Investment, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, or at least 5 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in investment analysis, capital raising, business development, or strategic partnerships.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, investment evaluation, and commercial transactions.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent commercial awareness, analytical ability, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with investors, financial institutions, or corporate partners is preferred.
Pay Rate
$105-$115 per hour
Guaranteed Working Hours Per Week
Minimum 30 hours
