The Opportunity
Kirimana is looking for experienced Pipe Fitters for commercial, industrial and mechanical projects across Auckland, Waikato and Wellington.
We have opportunities with established contractors delivering major new builds, upgrades and mechanical installations. We're looking for people with solid pipe fitting experience who can work accurately from plans, understand different piping systems and take pride in delivering quality work.
What We're Looking For
You'll work as part of experienced mechanical teams installing and maintaining piping systems across a range of project environments. You'll need to be confident using trade tools, working from drawings and completing installations accurately and safely.
- Install, assemble and fit pipework, fittings, valves and associated components
- Measure, cut, prepare and fit different types and sizes of pipe
- Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, measurements and pipe layouts
- Install brackets, hangers, supports and associated pipe support systems
- Work safely and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
Ideally, you'll have at least 2 years' relevant pipe fitting experience and be able to provide references supporting your work history.
