ExtraStaff is seeking an experienced CNC Folding Machine Operator to join a well-established Christchurch manufacturing team on a newly established afternoon shift. 

 

This role is ideal for someone with previous CNC folding or sheet metal experience who can hit the ground running and take pride in producing quality work.

About the Role 

Operate CNC folding machinery to manufacture sheet metal flashings 

Read and follow production requirements accurately 

Ensure products meet quality standards 

Maintain a safe and tidy work environment 

Work closely with the wider production team 

 

What We're Looking For 

Previous CNC folding, press brake, or similar machine operating experience 

Experience working with sheet metal highly regarded 

Strong attention to detail 

Good communication and teamwork skills 

Reliable with excellent timekeeping 

Commitment to workplace health and safety 

Basic computer skills and ability to learn production software 

 

Advantageous Skills 

Roof flashing experience 

Rainwater product knowledge 

Forklift license 

Manufacturing or engineering background  

 

Shift Options (40 Hours per Week) 

1:15pm - 9:45pm, Monday to Friday 

1:15pm - 10:45pm, Monday to Thursday, and 1:15pm - 5:15pm Friday 

1:15pm - 11:45pm, Monday to Thursday (3-day weekend)
