We are a well-established construction company located in Auckland which specialises in the delivery of large, complex and challenging projects throughout Auckland. We have a demonstrated track record of delivering high quality projects across various sectors for reputable developers.

Due to consistent and steady growth we are now looking to recruit an additional Project Manager to join our team. We specialise in the delivery of construction projects across commercial and residential.  

Duties will include:

  • Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of construction projects
  • Manage project planning, programming, budgets and resources
  • Oversee site operations and subcontractor performance
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, consultants and other stakeholders
  • Manage procurement, materials, plant and equipment
  • Review plans, drawings and specifications and address project requirements
  • Maintain high standards of quality, health & safety and compliance
  • Identify and resolve project issues, risks and challenges
  • Monitor project progress and ensure key milestones are achieved
  • Drive projects through to completion on time, within budget and to a high standard
     

Skills and Requirements:

A degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, or an equivalent qualification in Engineering or Construction Management.

  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience, ideally working with a main contractor
  • Experience on large commercial projects
  • Solid understanding of relevant legislation and industry compliance standards
  • Have a solution-based approach while identifying and mitigating risks
  • Strong work ethic and team player
  • A strong commitment to health & safety as well as enforcement of Company policies and procedures
  • Competent in MS Office Suite
  • Excellent attitude & communication skills

 

Location and Hours:

Our head office is based in Penrose with various project sites across the Auckland region. Business hours are 7am-5pm Monday to Friday.
