Position Title: Tow Truck Driver (class 2)
Number of Positions: 3
Location: ALL, Auckland
Pay Rate: $28 – $39 per hour
Hours of Work: 30 – 50 hours per week

Key Requirements:

0 to 6 Months of Experience OR Level 4 Qualification.

Must have (Class 2) Licence.

You will be required to operate speciliazed vehicles to transport, recover, or move disabled, damaged, illegally parked, or abandaned vehciles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to Incidents: Travel to accident scenes, highway breakdowns, or parking infractions promptly.
  • Secure and Load Vehicles: Use hooks, chains, winches, or flatbed hydraulic lifts to load vehicles safely without causing further damage.
  • Provide Roadside Assistance: Offer minor help such as changing flat tires, jump-starting batteries, or unlocking doors.
  • Manage Documentation: Keep accurate logs of mileage, fuel use, service reports, and customer handoff paperwork.
  • Customer Service: Communicate calmly and professionally with stressed or stranded motorists.
