Due to an internal transfer, we have a great opportunity for a Mechanical & Electrical Team Lead. This is a dual function where you will be managing your own workload of projects alongside growing, guiding and mentoring our team across the disciplines.

You'll play a key role in delivering impactful projects, shaping the team's future, and collaborating with experts across a wide range of disciplines both internally and externally.

Key elements of the role will include:

  • Provide operational leadership to your team, including setting clear goals, expectations, workload, resourcing and outputs to ensure a highly engaged and productive team
  • Work with the wider team to ensure project delivery, innovation, collaboration and work sharing across the Water business.
  • In conjunction with the Leadership team monitor staffing needs/capability in your team and wider region, including identifying succession planning, training and resourcing needs
  • Support the Leadership team in identifying market trends, pursuing opportunities and win revenue generating works from local government and private clients.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and develop business opportunities.
  • Lead a corporate culture that promotes ethical practices, health & safety, encourages individual integrity, and focuses on the customer and service delivery
  • Continue to successfully manage your technical portfolio of projects
