About the Role

As a Registered Nurse or Registered Social Worker within Ngā Harakeke Mai Rongokako Child, Adolescent & Family Services (CAFS), you will work alongside tamariki, rangatahi and their whānau to provide assessment, treatment, support and recovery-focused interventions. You will manage a varied caseload, build strong therapeutic relationships, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support positive mental health outcomes.

About the Team/Service/Location

Our team at Ngā Harakeke Mai Rongokako CAFS provides specialist mental health services for children, adolescents and their whānau throughout Hawkes Bay. We are a supportive multidisciplinary team of nurses, social workers, allied health professionals and medical staff who are passionate about improving outcomes for young people and delivering high-quality, recovery-focused care.

About You

As a Registered Nurse or Registered Social Worker, you will bring a passion for supporting children, young people and whānau, along with the skills to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.

• Current registration and Annual Practising Certificate in your relevant profession.
• Experience working in mental health, child and adolescent services, community health, or a related field.
• Strong assessment, care planning and risk management skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with tamariki, rangatahi, whānau and colleagues.
• A commitment to culturally responsive practice and achieving equitable health outcomes for Māori and diverse communities.
