About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced, inspirational, and people-focused leader to join our leadership team as Team Manager, Te Rawhiti Adult Community Mental Health & Addictions.

This is a rewarding opportunity to lead a high-performing multidisciplinary team, supporting the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred mental health services across our community. Working alongside clinical leaders, you will provide operational leadership, workforce management, and strategic direction, ensuring services meet the needs of tangata whaiora and their whānau.

Reporting to the Service Manager, Adult Community Mental Health, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership of the service while partnering closely with the Clinical Head to ensure clinically safe and high-quality care.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday.

About Te Rawhiti:

Based in Highland Park, Te Rawhiti provides specialist assessment, treatment, and recovery-focused support for adults aged 18+ experiencing moderate to severe mental health and addiction challenges.

Our dedicated multidisciplinary team serves the communities of Pakuranga, Howick, Botany, Maraetai, and Clevedon, working collaboratively to support positive outcomes for tangata whaiora and their whānau across a diverse and growing population.

About You:

You are an experienced leader who thrives in a complex and dynamic healthcare environment. You are passionate about building high-performing teams, fostering a positive workplace culture, and improving the experience and outcomes of those who access our services.

You will bring:

• Proven leadership experience in health service delivery, operational management, and financial oversight.
• Strong people leadership skills, including staff development, coaching, and performance management.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and supporting clinical excellence.
• A commitment to equity and improving outcomes for Māori, Pacific peoples, and other priority populations.
• A sound understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the cultural capabilities required to work effectively within Aotearoa New Zealand's health sector.
• Excellent relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
