About the Role

We are seeking a Registered Psychologist to join our supportive team in North Hamilton. Our office provides a professional and collegial environment, with flexible working options, peer supervision, and training events. The team work closely together and collaborate with other Psychologist Offices across New Zealand. The roles involve working with diverse clients, including in prison and community settings, conducting assessments, therapy, and case consultations. Comprehensive training, professional support, and supervision are provided, along with opportunities to develop specialist expertise, including preparing expert witness reports and providing court testimony. About You

We're looking for a Registered Psychologist who enjoys working with a diverse range of people and situations. You'll be comfortable building professional relationships with clients, completing assessments, and supporting interventions that contribute to rehabilitation and wellbeing. You'll be adaptable, able to work effectively in complex environments, and willing to work with people who may present with challenging behaviours or circumstances. Strong communication skills, sound professional judgement, and a commitment to ethical practice are important. You'll also value working as part of a team, participating in supervision, and continuing to develop your skills and knowledge.

The Benefits

The salary range for this role is $83,286-$133,370 per annum, with appointment and remuneration based on clinical competency, skills, and experience. Frontline Psychologists may also access additional allowances, professional development funding, flexible working arrangements, and a range of benefits including: 5 weeks annual leave, increasing to 6 weeks; Annual Departmental Day; National psychology training and development opportunities; Te Reo Māori and Tikanga allowance; APC reimbursement and Professional Indemnity Insurance contribution; Expert Witness Allowance (where applicable); Health, wellbeing, and EAP support.
