You will be working as a Residential Project Manager for a growing building company in Kapunda, SA, managing residential builds, renovations, and extensions from contract through to handover. This is a genuine PM role with real responsibility, not a glorified site supervisor position. You will be managing subcontractors, communicating with clients, and keeping projects on time and on budget in a small, well-run operation.
Day to day you will be:
- Managing residential build, renovation, and extension projects from contract award through to handover independently
- Coordinating and managing subcontractors across active project programmes
- Communicating with clients throughout the build process and managing expectations professionally
- Keeping projects on schedule and on budget with strong attention to detail and organisation
- Working with project management software including Simpro or equivalent platforms
- Integrating into a small office team and contributing to a positive, low-drama working environment
What We Need
- Proven residential Project Manager experience, end-to-end project delivery from contract through to handover, non-negotiable
- Valid driver's licence, this is an explicit disqualifier if not held
- White Card, required
- Background with residential builds, renovations, and extensions in a small to medium builder environment
- Strong client communication and subcontractor management skills
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to deliver without overselling yourself at interview
- Familiarity with Simpro or equivalent project management software
- Genuinely comfortable with regional living in Kapunda, SA, city-dependent candidates will not suit this role
- Ready to move quickly, an early December start is the target and candidates who cannot meet this timeline are not suitable right now
