Position: Meat Processing Supervisor

Employment Type: Full‑time, Permanent

Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week

Pay Range: $30 – $35 per hour (depending on experience and skills)

Rong Xia Wholesale Meat is seeking an experienced Meat Processing Supervisor to oversee daily production, staff coordination, and quality control within our wholesale meat operation. This is a skilled supervisory role responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant meat‑processing activities in line with industry standards and the company’s Food Control Plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily meat‑processing tasks including cutting, trimming, marinating, portioning, and packaging

  • Allocate tasks and oversee workflow to ensure efficient production output

  • Conduct quality control checks on meat products, including temperature monitoring, storage verification, and product specification compliance

  • Train staff in safe meat‑handling procedures, hygiene practices, and equipment operation

  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, workplace hygiene standards, and the Food Control Plan

  • Inspect incoming raw materials and verify quality before processing

  • Maintain accurate production, quality, and compliance records

  • Identify operational issues and report them to management

  • Support continuous improvement of processing, safety, and quality procedures

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous 2 years experiences in similar role or industry or level 4 qulifications

  • Proven ability to supervise staff and coordinate workflow in a production environment

  • Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and compliance requirements

  • Experience conducting quality control checks or food‑production setting

  • Relevant food‑handling or cook qualification is an advantage

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment

  • Good communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
