ALUMINIUM WINDOWS AND DOORS INSTALLER WANTED

Work Location: Auckland Region

Employment type: Full time (minimum 30 hours/ week, roster from Monday to Saturday), Permanent role

Our pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour depending on skills and experience

We are a construction company based in Auckland

We are now looking for  ALUMINIUM WINDOWS AND DOORS INSTALLER to join our supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right people and will allow access into a reputable and experienced company.

Tasks you may carry out:

Interpreting drawings and reading and understanding all instructions before starting each job

Identifying and selecting the right materials, cleaning and preparing metal stock

Cutting, manufacturing and assembling aluminium joinery to a high standard and in a

timely manner

Fitting and assembling metal components

Fabricating parts and metal finishing together as specified

Attaching fittings and completing the product build

Installing and fitting glass into aluminium frames, such as doors, windows and etc.

Cleaning the product and completing final quality checks against specifications

Installing the finished products according to the blueprints on site

At all times use supplied PPE

Keeping workstations clean, tidy and safe

Assisting team members in other sections as directed

To be successful you will need to:

Ideal candidates should have at least 1 year relevant work experience in the same field or industry, OR
Have a relevant leavel 3 qualification or above (equivalent overseas qualification can be accepted)
Be a great team player, be able to follow instructions
Be physically fit and willingness to work hard

·       Good eye for details and an ability to solve problems practically and effectively

·       have "can-do" attitude
