The Opportunity

Kirimana is looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to focus exclusively on permanent recruitment from our Auckland office.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of an established permanent recruitment portfolio while developing your own specialist market across construction management and professional services.

You'll work with clients ranging from specialist contractors through to established national businesses, recruiting professional, technical and management-level positions across New Zealand.

We're looking for someone who understands that successful permanent recruitment is built around market knowledge, relationships and proactive search. You'll need to understand your clients' businesses, know where good candidates sit within the market and be confident approaching both.


What We're Looking For

You'll manage the complete permanent recruitment process while building a specialist desk and developing long-term relationships with clients and candidates.

  • Manage permanent recruitment assignments from initial client briefing through search, interview, offer negotiation and placement
  • Proactively identify and engage high-quality passive candidates through direct sourcing, networking, referrals and existing relationships
  • Develop new business through client meetings, calls, networking and identifying recruitment opportunities within your market
  • Build genuine knowledge of your specialist sectors, including key employers, projects, salaries, candidate movements and market conditions
  • Take ownership of your portfolio, pipeline, revenue and the quality of service you provide to both clients and candidates
 
Previous permanent recruitment experience is preferred, particularly across construction.

We're also interested in experienced recruiters from other specialist sectors who can demonstrate a strong record of business development, candidate sourcing and successful permanent placements.
