CONTRACT ENGINEER

G&C Diggers is a local provider of water management solutions and construction works, dedicated to delivering high-quality service to our Client’s.  We are committed to sustainability, innovation and excellence.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Contract Engineer to oversee our three water contracts. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of these contracts, ensuring compliance and maintaining strong relationships with Clients and Stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

·         Develop and review engineering designs, specifications and documentation.

·         Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support.

·         Co-ordinate with clients, contractors and project stakeholders.

·         Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards and safety requirements.

·         Monitor project progress and identify opportunities for improvement.

·         Prepare technical reports, calculations and recommendations.  

Qualifications:

·         Experience in the Three Waters Industry preferable.

·         A proven ability to lead and manage staff.

·         Experience setting up programmes and sites.

·         The ability to manage Health and Safety and QA on and off site.

·         Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship management skills.

·         Understanding of the technical, contractual and financial aspects of contracts.

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Project.

·         Adaptability, flexibility and the ability to manage multiple tasks and issues simultaneously.
