Work & Grow Limited is seeking a reliable and responsible Tractor / Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for operating tractors and other farm equipment, assisting with nursery operations, and delivering plants, garden products and other materials to customers.  It is a full-time permanent role with a minimum guaranteed 30 hours of work per week, and we are looking for someone whom we can rely on.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and operate tractors, vans, farm implements and Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Operating tractors safely and efficiently.
  • Performing inspections of tractors and attachments and ensuring they are well-lubricated.
  •  Using tractors to transport materials and pull or push equipment.
  •  Operating tractors in fields.
  • Reporting any faults or concerns to the Farm Manager.
  • Remaining alert while driving and maintaining the appropriate speed limit at all times.
  • Operating other farm equipment.
  • Collect all punnets and load into Delivery Vehicles.
  • Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes within the Region.
  • Follow routes and time schedule.
  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle.
  • Complete logs and reports.
  • Follow H&S regulations and safety standards.
  • Completing Job Sheets.
  • Meeting Delivery Deadlines

Must hold a valid New Zealand Class 1 Driver Licence OR equivalent overseas Licence.
