We are looking for a Transport Manager to oversee and manage our daily transport operations in and around Auckland. This is an excellent opportunity to build your career, with full support from the Business Owner as we grow and develop our business.

 

Key Responsibilities.

1. Reporting directly to Director/Owner of the business.
2. Managing and supervising drivers.
3. Ensuring compliance with NZ transport regulations and safety standards.
4. Scheduling and coordinating daily deliveries.
5. Monitoring driver hours and fleet performance.
6. Handling client communication and operational issues.
7. Ensuring goods are stored and transported in conditions that will maintain their quality.
8. Arranging collection and delivery of vehicles and goods.
9. Maintaining company policies and health & safety requirements
10. Ensure the business and staff comply with Occupational Health & Safety guidelines.
11. Ensure all customer inquiries and complaints are handled efficiently and in a timely manner.
12. Any other tasks/duties as assigned by the Director.

 

Requirements:

1. 2-3 years relevant work experience.

2. Ability to build rapport with customers.

3. Willing to go through drug or medical test.

4. Must be available to work weekends, after hours or on public holidays, if needed.

5. Strong teamwork and ability to do additional work, if needed.

 

What We Offer:

Pay Rate: $29 to 35  per hour.

Minimum Guaranteed Hours: 33 hours per week.
