A growing transport company based in Whangarei is looking for a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join their team.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering groceries to various locations from Regent to the Whangarei East area, including Whangarei Heads and Matapouri.

The role ensures orders arrive safely, accurately, and on time. Strong knowledge of local routes and the wider area will be an advantage

Key Responsibilities.

- Deliver grocery orders efficiently and professionally.

- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely.

- Be proficient in manoeuvring vehicles into position for loading and unloading.

- Determine the destinations of goods and appropriate delivery routes.

- Maintain accuracy when handling orders.

- Provide friendly, high-quality customer service.

- Report vehicle maintenance needs.

- Adhere to all traffic laws and company procedures.

- The successful candidate must be reliable and also be able to start early (… am) and finish late at (8 pm) whenever required.

- This is a full-time position where the candidate will be rostered from Monday to Sunday and must be available to work school holidays and public holidays (including the Christmas and New Year period).

 

Skills/Qualifications Required:

- Must be able to pass an MOJ Check and drug test

- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

- Must have a full Class 2 licence

- Candidates must have their own transport to get to work

- Must have a good level of physical fitness for loading/unloading trucks

- Customer service experience preferred
