Job Description:
PURE AOTEAROA INTERNATIONAL LIMITED is seeking a skilled and reliable Excavator Operator to join our civil construction team in Auckland. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating excavators and assisting with a wide range of siteworks and earthmoving tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators safely and efficiently for trenching, backfilling, site preparation, and drainage work
• Interpret site plans and instructions from supervisors
• Perform routine machine checks and minor maintenance
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other workers to maintain project timelines
• Maintain clean and organized work sites

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of proven similar experience in civil or construction work
• Competent in operating various sizes of excavators
• Appropriate machine operating licenses preferred
• Good knowledge of machinery safety and site regulations
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in variable conditions
• Valid work visa or legal right to work in New Zealand
