Job Description:
PURE AOTEAROA INTERNATIONAL LIMITED is seeking skilled and reliable Excavator Operators to join our civil construction team in Auckland. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating excavators and supporting a range of site works and earthmoving activities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate excavators safely and efficiently for trenching, backfilling, site preparation, and drainage works
  • Interpret site plans and follow instructions from supervisors
  • Conduct routine machine checks and perform basic maintenance
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet project timelines
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organised work sites

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in civil construction or a similar field
  • Proven ability to operate various sizes of excavators
  • Relevant machine operating licences are preferred
  • Good understanding of site safety practices and machinery operation
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying conditions
  • Must hold a valid work visa or have the legal right to work in New Zealand
