Commercial Cleaner

Key Duties:

• General commercial cleaning, including rubbish collection, dusting, vacuuming and mopping.
• Cleaning bathrooms, toilets, urinals, kitchens, stairwells and glass surfaces.
• High-level dusting and detailed cleaning as required.
• Machine scrubbing, floor stripping, polishing, buffing and burnishing.
• Carpet cleaning.
• Other cleaning duties as reasonably directed.
• Participate in required workplace and site-specific training.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a commercial cleaning or similar fast-paced environment is preferential, however not mandatory as you will be provided site-specific training.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work efficiently under time pressure
• Good attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods 
• Full Class 1 Driver Licence or acceptable overseas equivalent.
• Able to work independently after training.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and Ministry of Justice check.
• Two strong employment references required.
• Must be available for late afternoon, evening and early morning shifts (Usually between 4:00PM to 6:00AM), including weekends.

Location: Dunedin
Hours: Minimum 32 hours, up to 50 hours per week
Pay: $25 per hour
