We are looking for an enthusiastic Restaurant FOH Floor Manager to join our team and take a leading role in the day-to-day operation of our busy restaurant.

The position is full time permanent with a minimum of 30hrs to a maximum of 50hrs per week,

Pay from $ 28.00 to $ 35.00 weekly

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys hospitality, leads by example, and is passionate about delivering excellent food and customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead, coach and motivate the Front of House team.
  • Manage staff rosters, sections and daily floor operations.
  • Ensure consistently high standards of food, service and presentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service and confidently handle customer queries and complaints.
  • Train and develop staff in service standards, POS, responsible alcohol service and product knowledge.
  • Coordinate effectively between the Front of House and kitchen teams.
  • Manage restaurant functions and special events.
  • Assist with ordering, stock control, cash handling and other administrative duties.
  • Monitor costs, sales opportunities and service efficiency.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, health and safety.
  • Work closely with the management and kitchen teams to continuously improve the restaurant.
  • Work closely and report to GM in all aspect of the business
  • Liaise with GM on HR issues and hiring

About you:

  • Previous minimum 3 years’ hospitality experience or relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Passion for food, hospitality and providing exceptional customer experiences.
  • Well organised, reliable and able to work calmly under pressure.
  • Confident dealing with customers, staff and suppliers.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional presentation and a positive, hands-on approach.
  • Knowledge of Italian/Mediterranean food and hospitality
  • Knowledge of European wine
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and occasional overtime.
