About the Role
In conjunction with our NZ Medical Education & Training Manager, this position will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the medical education program. You will implement educational and promotional training events and materials, supporting the product development process, and engaging surgeon consultants in the application of orthopedic/arthroscopic surgical solutions.
• Coordinate and support medical education and training programmes relating to orthopaedic concepts, clinical procedures, and the Arthrex product range
• Deliver and assist with training on the safe and effective use of Arthrex products, including procedure-specific surgical and non-surgical techniques
• Support education programmes for company representatives, nurses, and healthcare professionals
• Organise and assist with medical education events, including lab courses, faculty forums, and corporate training events
• Prepare and maintain training materials, lab equipment, and educational resources required for training activities
• Manage training stock and monitor usage of products and materials required for education programmes
• Support lab setup, breakdown, and maintenance of equipment for training events
• Raise purchase requisitions through SAP and assist with training-related documentation and compliance requirements
• Assist with the development and implementation of training procedures and support continuous improvement of training delivery
• Travel to support offsite education and training events where required
Education and Experience/ Requirements:
· Have a relevant level 7 bachelor degree qualification or higher health care or Sciences or equivalent qualification, OR
· Have at least 2 years relevant experience in the same industry/field, i.e evant experience in medical education, clinical training, or orthopaedic/medical device support roles OR Proven experience in coordinating medical education and training activities within a healthcare, orthopaedic, or medical device environment.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training (will be advantage if have):
· Ability to logistically manage a lab and training environment independently.
· Can work independently and as part of a team
· Proven ability to demonstrate initiative
· Aptitude to teach and develop orthopedic training skills.
· Great planning and organizational skills
