The Kā Pou Whenua Pūkenga Kaitautoko Cultural Support Worker delivers an On-Call After Hours Crisis Support Service Based at Te Nikau Hospital across Specialist Mental Health Services, the Emergency Department and Acute GP Practice.

Dementia Canterbury and  Purapura Whetu Trust are seeking a  Registered Health Professional (under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance act) to work within a pilot program role as a Kaihaumanu ( clinician ) , assisting whaiora and their whanaua to navigate the journey with Mate Wareware.

· Full Time permanent Peer Support worker position . Initially hours will be weekdays from 1-9 pm . However as this is a pilot project the hours of work may extend over time into rostered weekend work . · Based in Christchurch Central City
