About the Role

As a Senior Administration Support professional, you will play a key role in providing high-quality administrative and coordination support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the team. Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, you will manage a range of administrative functions, support service delivery, and contribute to an efficient and effective working environment.

About you

You are an experienced Senior Administration Support professional with strong organizational skills and a proven ability to support senior leaders in a busy environment. You build effective relationships, manage competing priorities, and are committed to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and improving outcomes for Māori and Pacific communities. You will have public health administration experience in communicable diseases, environmental health and/or compliance.

  • Bring 3+ years' experience in a senior administrative role and experience supporting senior leaders.
  • Hold a relevant qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application in practice.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Work effectively with Māori and Pacific communities.
  • Manage multiple priorities and consistently deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Show initiative, accountability, professionalism, and integrity.
  • Contribute to a safe, positive, and collaborative workplace.
  • Have health sector experience (desirable).
  • Full Driver's Licence
