We have RMO Daily Operations Advisor positions available across Auckland, Counties Manukau and Waitematā hospitals.

This is a busy and varied role supporting our Resident Medical Officers, both House Officers and Registrars. You will help manage rosters, leave and vacancy cover while providing responsive, practical support to RMOs, clinical services and other key stakeholders.

About the role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to RMO enquiries by phone, email and in person
  • Managing rosters, leave and vacancy cover
  • Identifying issues and finding practical solutions
  • Maintaining accurate and organised records
  • Supporting orientation and run changeovers
  • Building positive relationships across clinical and workforce teams
  • Participating in the regional after-hours RMO booking service on a rostered basis

About you

You will be someone who can confidently multitask, manage competing priorities and stay organised in a fast-paced environment.

You will bring:

  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
  • A proactive, flexible and team-focused approach
  • Confidence working through problems and changing priorities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good Microsoft Office skills

Previous rostering or workforce coordination experience, strong problem-solving abilities and excellent Microsoft Excel skills would be an advantage.
