About the Role
As Clinical Administration Support in the Referral Centre, you will be working within a high performing team undertaking a range of duties to support the administration of external and interdepartmental referrals.
Duties will include but are not limited to: preparing referrals by acknowledging receipt; inputting referrals into our patient management system; updating the status of referrals post triage; fielding enquiries from staff, clinicians and external referrers as well as reviewing and acting on reporting information to ensure targets are met
It is a permanent part-time role, working 64 hours per fortnight (0.8 FTE) Monday to Friday. Hours are between 7.00AM to 5.00PM which will be discussed with the successful candidate.

About you
As Clinical Administration Support, you will:
- Have a bright, outgoing personality and will possess excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering a consistently high level of customer service;
- Be a competent typist and possess a sound knowledge of the MS Office Suite;
- Be highly empathetic and respect the importance of maintaining patient confidentiality;
- Have demonstrated the ability to manage a busy workload.
Knowledge of medical terminology would be an advantage, but is not essential.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
