About the Role

As Clinical Secretarial Support, you will provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support to consultants and clinical teams. You will be responsible for managing clinical correspondence, coordinating appointments, maintaining accurate patient records, and supporting the patient journey from referral through to treatment and follow-up care.

This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

It is a Fixed Term, full time role for up to 12 months covering maternity leave working 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE), Monday to Friday. Hours are between 7.00AM to 5.00PM which will be discussed with the successful candidate.

About You

As Clinical Administration Support, you will:

  • Have a bright, outgoing personality and will possess excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering a consistently high level of customer service;
  • Be a competent typist and possess a sound knowledge of the MS Office Suite;
  • Be highly empathetic and respect the importance of maintaining patient confidentiality;
  • Have demonstrated the ability to manage a busy workload.

Knowledge of medical terminology would be an advantage, but is not essential.

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
