HX HOMES NZ LIMITED (Gu Yun Massage) is a well-established company experiencing rapid growth. To support our continued expansion, we are currently seeking Massage Therapists and warmly welcome interested candidates to apply for the position.

​​Job Description

  • Consult with clients to understand their health conditions, concerns, and treatment goals.
  • Assess clients' physical condition and recommend appropriate massage techniques.
  • Perform a variety of massage treatments, including:
    • Traditional Chinese Massage
    • Relaxation Massage
    • Deep Tissue Massage
    • Foot Massage
  • Apply appropriate pressure and techniques to relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, and promote relaxation.
  • Maintain accurate client treatment records and notes where required.
  • Ensure treatment rooms, equipment, towels, and massage tables are cleaned and sanitised after each client.
  • Prepare treatment rooms before appointments.
  • Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and professional ethics.
  • Recommend suitable treatment plans or follow‑up appointments.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures when required.
  • Work collaboratively with other therapists and reception staff.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as directed by management.

Applicants should ideally have:

  • Previous experience as a Massage Therapist (preferred).
  • Knowledge of traditional Chinese massage techniques.
  • Good understanding of human anatomy and muscle function.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good personal presentation and professional attitude.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding work.

More details about the position

  • Location: Auckland
  • Job type: Full-time Permanent
  • Pay rate: 26.50- 30.00 New Zealand dollars per hour
  • Hours per week: At least 30 (Weekend and evening work will be required according to business needs.).

Job Requirement

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, or a relevant NZ Diploma qualification (or equivalent overseas qualification) is required.
